The Steve Sampson Soccer Academy is a division of the Global Sports Institute LLC and is a full service soccer organization for players, coaches, referees, administrators and clubs. We are pleased to announce the beginning of the 2009 -2010 season with training sessions located on the campus of Cal State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, California, Arroyo Grande, California and Agoura Hills, California.
The Global Sports Institute offers individual training, group training and team training for all ages. We do not conflict with club commitments and will work with your club coach to maximize your development as a player.
We have just completed our third year of operation and are very proud of our accomplishments. Some of our success stories of this past year include academy members signing professionally in Australia and Mexico, receiving scholarship offers from top division one college programs while making an impact on national, regional and state championship teams in southern California. Our staff traveled to Austria to work with 230 players and coaches in Vienna. We hosted the Club America Reserves during their pre-season in June and co-promoted a match between Cal Poly SLO and Club America in San Luis Obispo. And, we worked for a week with over 50 of the top collegiate players in the country during the month of August in Arroyo Grande and Camarillo to help them prepare for their upcoming seasons. But most importantly we helped over 150 boys and girls improve their skills and confidence so that they not only felt good about themselves but made positive contributions to their teams.
